Daehong Communications, Lotte Group’s marketing and advertising subsidiary, is expanding its partnership with Aptos to apply on-chain ticketing to concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events. The initiative builds on the Giftiel mobile platform, which has issued more than 5 million digital vouchers to over 1.3 million users since integrating with the Aptos mainnet in July 2025. The partnership, first announced in March 2024, initially focused on creating a Web3 hub for digital vouchers and related loyalty services. Giftiel records voucher issuance, transfers and redemptions on-chain, while the planned ticketing system is intended to provide verified ownership, real-time traceability and anti-counterfeit protections. Consumers will not need to create crypto wallets or pay gas fees. Daehong and Aptos describe the broader effort as a Money Movement ecosystem covering digital assets such as loyalty points, vouchers and tickets. Earlier initiatives included NFT projects and loyalty integrations connected to Lotte brands including BellyGom and Baekho Eleven, with payments and additional loyalty programs planned alongside the ticketing rollout. Daehong’s L.TICKET service continues to offer discounts of up to 50% on selected musicals, plays, children’s shows and exhibitions, with venue-area coupon packages and blockchain-based ticket records part of its broader development plans.
