South Korea will waive nationwide expressway tolls from midnight on Sept. 24 through midnight on Sept. 27 during Chuseok, halve public EV charging fees from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., cut fuel prices by 100 won per liter at 226 Korea Expressway Corporation stations and deploy 19 mobile chargers at eight rest stops. Korea Expressway Corp. will also pilot direct public contracts at eight of the country's 215 highway rest areas to reduce intermediary fees, lower food prices and improve service, with expansion dependent on the results.
