Ether has gained 74.58% in the third quarter, its strongest third-quarter performance since CoinGlass began tracking the data in 2016. With eight days remaining as of Sept. 22, the advance had exceeded the previous record of 66.55%, set in the third quarter of 2025. Ether fell 29.26% in the first quarter and 25.28% in the second quarter this year before rebounding sharply. The average third-quarter gain in the record is 13.55%, while the median is 9.87%.
