Patrick Witt, executive director of the President’s Council of Advisers for Digital Assets at the White House, will visit South Korea and join Dunamu’s Upbit Institutional Summit on Sept. 29 at Grand Walkerhill Seoul in Seoul’s Gwangjin District. Witt will take part in a special discussion with Yoon Sun-joo, Dunamu’s chief brand impact officer, titled "Washington to the World: A New Order in Digital Finance." The invitation-only gathering will bring together policymakers, institutional investors, financial companies, and digital-asset and technology executives. Its agenda includes global digital-asset regulation, market-structure changes, asset tokenization, institutional participation, regulatory developments in major Asian countries, finance’s shift on-chain, and the convergence of artificial intelligence and blockchain. Other speakers include former Commodity Futures Trading Commission Commissioner Brian Quintenz, former White House Presidential Digital Asset Advisory Council Deputy Director Harry Jung, MoonPay Chief Legal and Administrative Officer Caroline Pham, and European Commission adviser Peter Kerstens. A panel will examine South Korea’s financial industry’s on-chain transition and the potential of on-chain finance. Dunamu plans to develop UIS into a regular forum linking South Korea’s digital-asset market with global markets.
