ShredPay has joined Jack Henry’s Fintech Integration Network, creating a path for banks and credit unions using Jack Henry technology to connect with its stablecoin (digital token designed to maintain a stable value) and digital-asset management services. Announced on September 21, the arrangement uses jXchange and SymXchange APIs (software interfaces for connecting systems) to link ShredPay with Jack Henry’s core banking platforms. Jack Henry serves approximately 7,400 banks and credit unions, but the partnership does not represent a blanket rollout or mean that every institution has signed up. Individual financial institutions must decide whether to adopt ShredPay. The integration network is intended to reduce the technical difficulty of adding digital-asset services to existing account, payment, control and reporting systems. The development places stablecoins closer to conventional banking workflows, where they are increasingly discussed as payment and settlement infrastructure rather than solely crypto-native assets.
