Sellers of Smartsheet Inc. common stock between June 1, 2024, and Sept. 23, 2024, have until Oct. 5, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a securities class action that has already been filed, Rosen Law Firm said. The lawsuit alleges Smartsheet repurchased shares at market prices while a consortium had made higher offers to acquire the company, including a $56.50-per-share proposal. Smartsheet disclosed the transaction on Sept. 24, 2024, and the merger closed on Jan. 22, 2025, at $56.50 per share. The allegations have not been proven, no class has been certified, and investors do not need to serve as lead plaintiff to participate in any potential recovery.
