Rock Tech Lithium has signed agreements with Siemens Canada to develop a Digital Twin for its planned Red Rock Lithium Converter in Ontario and provide specialized support for the project’s ongoing Definitive Feasibility Study. The virtual, physics-based model will represent plant processes, energy flows and material streams, allowing design, efficiency, emissions and reliability choices to be tested before major capital is committed. The technology is intended to span the project lifecycle from feasibility through operations, while the companies will assess applications in other G7 countries. Siemens will also advise on process control, instrumentation and automation architecture. The DFS began at the end of June 2026 and is expected to be completed by mid-December 2026. Rock Tech said the collaboration supports resilient German-Canadian lithium supply chains and its broader converter projects in Canada and Germany, while the release cautioned that development, permitting, financing, construction, timing and other outcomes remain subject to risks and assumptions.
