TUI narrowed its 2026 underlying earnings before interest and taxes guidance to €1.2 billion-€1.3 billion, from a previous range of €1.1 billion-€1.4 billion. The revised outlook, on a constant-currency basis, is equivalent to $1.38 billion-$1.49 billion. Shares fell about 1.93% during Tuesday trading, underperforming the DAX. TUI said revenue guidance remained suspended as Middle East geopolitical instability delayed holiday bookings, pushed travelers toward last-minute reservations and contributed to higher jet-fuel costs. Reserved capacity for Germany and the United Kingdom rose 1% from the company’s Aug. 12 update, although total bookings remained below the comparable period last year. Average airline transaction prices stayed strong, while TUI’s Holiday Experiences division, including hotels and cruises, reported strong demand during the early part of fiscal 2027. TUI said fuel hedging, cost reductions and capacity adjustments were helping manage margin pressure. Full fiscal 2026 results are due on Dec. 9.
