Power Metallic Mines reported the first assays from deep summer 2026 drilling at the Lion deposit, part of its Nisk Project Area in Canada. Hole PML-26-125 reached nearly 800 metres of vertical depth and returned 5.70 metres grading 11.42% copper, 61.57 grams per tonne silver, 0.30 grams per tonne gold, 2.48 grams per tonne palladium, 0.41 grams per tonne platinum and 14.00 grams per tonne nickel, for a recovered copper-equivalent grade of 14.00%. A 2.15-metre interval within the hole graded 24.62% CuEq. Hole PML-26-121a, drilled to the western side of the projected Lion plunge at nearly 650 metres vertical depth, returned 7.70 metres at 3.28% CuEq, including higher-grade intervals. Power Metallic said the drilling establishes that Lion continues at depth and remains incompletely delineated. A third hole, PML-26-128, reached nearly 900 metres vertical depth on the eastern side and encountered copper-sulphide mineralization, with assays pending. The company expects additional results from deep Lion drilling and regional exploration in the coming weeks.
