21Shares launched physically backed exchange-traded products tracking Zcash's ZEC and ether.fi's ETHFI token on Euronext Paris and Amsterdam. The products, listed as ZCASH and ETHFI, each charge a 2.5% annual fee and give eligible investors exposure through securities accounts while custodians hold the underlying tokens. Both began with 5,000 securities outstanding and had assets under management of about $100,000 in early disclosures. The Zcash ETP, which 21Shares calls Europe's first, follows Grayscale's Aug. 25 U.S. launch of its Zcash ETF, ZCSH, on NYSE Arca. Digital Currency Group subsequently invested about $100 million in ZCSH, and Grayscale has scheduled a 3-for-1 forward split effective before the Sept. 30 market open. ZEC traded above $1,500 on Sept. 23, up more than 30% over seven days and roughly 77% over 30 days.
