Michael Burry disclosed investments in QXO common stock and 5.5% Series B mandatory convertible preferred shares, Ero Copper, Sprouts Farmers Market and Zoetis, increased his Temple & Webster position and said he was exiting artificial-intelligence investments. In a later portfolio update dated Sept. 22, 2026, Burry increased bearish positions in Micron Technology, Nebius Group, the iShares Semiconductor ETF and Palantir Technologies, reflecting his view that semiconductors face a coming supply glut, while adding QXO, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Sprouts Farmers Market, Birkenstock Holding and MercadoLibre. QXO shares rose 7.4% after Burry cited CEO Brad Jacobs’ acquisition record, QXO’s strategy of consolidating fragmented building-materials distribution and its depressed valuation. Its preferred shares provide a 7.4% cumulative current yield and are scheduled to convert automatically into common stock around May 15, 2028, although earlier conversion is possible. Burry’s Ero Copper position reflects an indirect bet on AI infrastructure, where data centers can create copper demand within two to three years while new mines take roughly 18 years to reach production. Micron is scheduled to report fourth-quarter earnings on Sept. 30, 2026, with analysts forecasting earnings per share of $31.30 and revenue of $50.62 billion.
