Jupiter added six perpetual futures markets on September 22 for HYPE, ZEC, JUP, SPCX, SNDK and SKHYNIX, expanding its on-chain derivatives offering to include crypto assets and tokenized equities. The markets use USDC collateral, settle funding rates hourly and rely on Chainlink price feeds. HYPE, ZEC and SPCX have leverage caps of 20x, while JUP is capped at 10x. The new contracts run on the GUM network's native central limit order book rather than the Jupiter Liquidity Pool used by the earlier BTC, SOL and ETH markets. GUM supports orders from Solana wallets while handling cross-chain settlement without requiring users to bridge funds or switch networks, enabling assets that do not fit the JLP pooled-liquidity model. SNDK represents tokenized SanDisk (Western Digital) shares and SKHYNIX tracks SK Hynix; both are issued by Backpack Securities. Beta access requires staking at least 69 JUP, a threshold Jupiter describes as temporary. The launch coincided with Jupiter Lend surpassing $2.41 billion in total deposits, although the lending milestone and perpetual-market rollout are operationally separate.
