Midas launched mWIN and mGLOBAL on Avalanche on September 22, 2026, giving DeFi users access to two institutional credit strategies. mWIN is linked to a diversified, actively managed fixed-income portfolio run by Wellington Management, which oversees more than $1.3 trillion in assets under management. Launched on August 5, 2026, mWIN attracted more than $15 million in its first two days, exceeded $25 million in total value locked by the end of August and later reached nearly $36 million. mGLOBAL tracks Fasanara Capital's Global Diversified Alternative Debt strategy, focused on receivables and asset-backed credit and managing more than $6 billion. It had already become eligible collateral on Aave Horizon on June 23, 2026. Both products are programmable and transferable onchain, allowing them to be used in financial applications. They are issued through Luxembourg securitization vehicles, supporting defined investor rights, independent valuations and onchain composability. Avalanche hosts more than $2 billion in tokenized assets, while Midas says it has issued more than $2 billion since its 2024 founding and distributed more than $43 million in yield. Midas' platform TVL crossed $600 million by the end of August 2026, with mGLOBAL and the related mGLO product contributing more than $100 million. The Aave Horizon integration highlights the development of institutional DeFi, where compliant borrowers and tokenized collateral can interact in a permissioned lending pool. The actively managed credit segment remains smaller than the tokenized Treasury market, but it requires more extensive compliance, valuation and disclosure infrastructure.
