Microsoft plans to offer 30% to 50% discounts on Copilot subscriptions for large corporate customers committing to substantial seat purchases and additional usage-based payments, The Information reported. The discounts could begin as soon as October, with pricing reduced by about 30% for customers buying more than 1,000 seats and by as much as 50% for those purchasing more than 10,000 seats. Copilot starts at $30 per user per month, compared with earlier discounts of about 10% for some customers buying at least 2,000 seats. Microsoft is also preparing a revamped Copilot super app that will combine AI coding tools and agent features, some of which will carry extra usage-based fees. Microsoft said in July that Microsoft 365 Copilot had surpassed 30 million paid seats, while CEO Satya Nadella described the product's evolution from a chat assistant toward autonomous AI agents. Microsoft shares were up 0.72% at $501.60 in Wednesday premarket trading, supported by a broader technical uptrend, while analysts maintained positive ratings and raised price targets.
