Palo Alto Networks has launched Unit 42 Continuous Frontier AI Defense, an annual-subscription service that continuously assesses web applications, application programming interfaces and cloud infrastructure. The platform combines Anthropic’s Claude Mythos 5, OpenAI’s GPT-5.6-Cyber and open-weight models with Unit 42’s threat intelligence, using a multi-model harness and adversary simulation to identify, validate and help remediate vulnerabilities as enterprise environments change. Palo Alto Networks said internal deployment found a year’s worth of exposures in three weeks, while pilot assessments identified vulnerabilities in every participating organization; 37% were classified as high or critical severity. The company spent six months and roughly $17 million developing and validating the service through internal testing and more than 100 customer engagements. It is available globally, with pricing based on the selected model mix. Palo Alto shares fell about 2% in early Tuesday trading after the announcement.
