The complaint alleged that The Andersons had failed to make timely payments to a grain producer for 17 deliveries made between November 2023 and January 2024. The company denied the alleged violations, while both The Andersons and the producer said the matter had been resolved. Nebraska regulators said they had received no other complaints against the company and urged farmers who may have experienced similar payment delays to come forward. The case comes as farmers face rising production costs, including record-high diesel prices, and regulators increase scrutiny of grain buyers following recent dealer failures that left producers with unpaid contracts.
