A class action lawsuit has been filed against UWM Holdings Corporation and certain officers and directors over alleged securities-law violations and misleading disclosures. Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer LLP announced the action on Sept. 23, 2026, while an earlier notice identified Pomerantz LLP in connection with the litigation. The case follows UWM’s failed $1.3 billion all-stock merger agreement with Two Harbors Investment Corp. and the company’s disclosure of a $603.2 million interest rate derivatives loss for the second quarter of fiscal 2026. UWM reported a $451.9 million quarterly net loss and a 43.6% year-over-year decline in total equity. After Chief Executive Officer Mathew Ishbia discussed hedging tied to the proposed Two Harbors transaction on an August 6 earnings call, UWM shares fell $0.64, or 34.78%, to close at $1.20. Kaplan Fox says investors who acquired UWM securities during the March 9-August 5, 2026, class period have until October 13, 2026, to ask the court to appoint them as lead plaintiff.
