Hashed has become an anchor investor in a planned $300 million digital-asset private credit fund launched by Abu Dhabi investor Mohamed Hamdy and managed by Thoro Capital Management. The fund will use stablecoin settlement to provide dollar-denominated loans directly to digital-asset institutions, applying covenant-based underwriting that emphasizes company finances, cash flow and operating metrics over collateral. Hashed said regulated banks face capital constraints while traditional crypto lending remains heavily collateralized, leaving profitable, audited infrastructure companies reliant on expensive short-term secured borrowing. The investment also supports Thoro's overseas expansion. Tokenized private-credit lending has exceeded $14 billion in cumulative on-chain loans, compared with a $3 trillion global private-credit market. Hashed previously obtained a financial services license from Abu Dhabi Global Market and signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office.
