NEAR has gone live on Hyperliquid’s spot market, enabling NEAR/USDC trading alongside the platform’s existing perpetual contract. NEAR traded near $4.33 after the launch, close to its recent 52-week high of $4.46, having climbed from about $3.05 on Sept. 17. Hyperliquid data showed roughly $344.2 million in NEAR perpetual open interest, $269.1 million in 24-hour volume and positive funding of 0.0017% per hour, indicating that long positions were paying shorts; a later snapshot showed about $248 million in perpetual volume. The spot listing gives users and market makers a direct market for NEAR and a way to hedge against leveraged positions, while offering a clearer measure of non-leveraged demand. NEAR’s rally has coincided with growth in Confidential Intents, whose confidential total value locked exceeded $70 million, and integrations including Ondo Finance’s tokenized stocks. NEAR will take several days to appear on Hyperliquid’s Strict List under the platform’s normal deployment process.
