PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF) and FTAI Aviation Ltd. have expanded their engine-maintenance partnership, securing guaranteed GMF capacity for FTAI across Asia-Pacific for five years. The initial agreement covers CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B engines and GTCP131-9 series APUs, building on existing maintenance work and providing a platform for module, component and eventually CFM LEAP support. FTAI will contribute technical expertise and training, while the companies aim to improve access to materials, spare parts and components and bring maintenance closer to customers. GMF, Indonesia’s largest MRO provider, has served more than 190 customers across over 70 countries. FTAI shares were trading at $189.06, down 0.36%, with the stock below its 20-, 50-, 100- and 200-day simple moving averages. Its RSI was 46.50, while technical support stood near $179 and resistance near $194.50. Analysts maintained a Buy consensus with an average price target of $339, although Barclays and BTIG lowered their targets while Morgan Stanley raised its target. FTAI also has exposure to several small- and mid-cap ETFs, creating potential for mechanically driven buying or selling when those funds experience inflows or outflows.
