Super Micro Computer shares rose 1.01% to $41.96 in Wednesday premarket trading without a fresh corporate catalyst, as investors continued to focus on AI infrastructure demand, an approximately $60 billion pipeline and fiscal 2027 revenue guidance of $65 billion to $72 billion. At the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference on Sept. 10, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development Michael Staiger said AI demand remained "pretty excellent" and cited orders supporting the outlook. Super Micro is expanding turnkey data-center deployments for neocloud providers, enterprises and sovereign customers, with production at about 6,000 liquid- and air-cooled racks monthly and additional capacity under development in Johor. Its software and services business generated $538 million in fiscal 2026 and offers higher margins than hardware, while the company is targeting double-digit gross margins for integrated systems and software. Investors remain focused on converting the backlog into profitable revenue without weakening margins. Analyst price targets range from $15 to $51, with Goldman Sachs retaining a Sell rating and $34 target and Rosenblatt maintaining a Buy rating and $51 target. CEO Charles Liang and director Chiu-Chu Liang also sold shares earlier this month under predetermined trading plans.
