Meta’s Muse artificial-intelligence agent has climbed to the top of Apple’s App Store download rankings, overtaking ChatGPT within days of launch, as the company’s shares rose more than 20% in the following two weeks. Meta stock jumped 11% on Monday, its largest daily gain since April 2025, reaching its highest close since October. Muse can schedule appointments, manage travel, fill out forms, monitor home-security feeds and shop through connected e-commerce services. Walmart, Best Buy, Gap, Sephora and Wayfair have partnered with Muse, while Shopify will allow the agent to process purchases directly. Amazon has blocked Muse from completing transactions on its marketplace, saying unauthorized AI-agent activity violates its policies. Meta also introduced hardware at Connect, including the Muse Charm voice-activated device, $349 Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses without cameras and Meta VR Glasses priced at $1,299 for a planned spring 2027 release. Truist analyst Youssef Squali projects Muse could generate $28.5 billion in annual revenue by 2030 as users move to premium subscriptions, while analysts continue to assess Meta’s freemium model and its potential transaction-based revenue.
