Innodata shares jumped 14.61% Tuesday to close at $69.97 after Hunterbrook suggested the AI data specialist may support Meta’s Muse assistant. Meta introduced Muse on September 8, and Reuters recorded 2.8 million installations in its first 12 days. Analysts said Muse could reach 100 million users within six to 12 months and generate revenue through subscriptions, advertising, commerce and services for Meta’s roughly 200 million small businesses, although competition and the need to justify substantial AI investment remain. Neither Meta nor Innodata has confirmed a relationship, while Hunterbrook Capital disclosed a long position in Innodata. Innodata reported second-quarter revenue of $92.1 million, up 58% year over year, while 100 million Muse users could require about 1.6 to 1.7 gigawatts of compute capacity and roughly $50 billion in capital spending per gigawatt.
