Strive bought 1,355 bitcoin for about $107.7 million between Sept. 14 and Sept. 18, paying an average of $79,475 per coin, according to a Form 8-K filing with the SEC (U.S. securities regulator). The purchase lifted its holdings to 26,355 BTC, worth more than $2.25 billion at Monday's bitcoin price of about $85,600. Chief risk officer Jeff Walton said Strive is buying bitcoin at a pace that would roughly double its holdings every 12 weeks, while the company's balance sheet has surpassed $2.5 billion. Strive remains the fifth-largest public bitcoin holder, behind Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet and MARA. The company is funding purchases through common and preferred stock offerings and uses a 25% to 50% return benchmark. Nearly 786,000 warrants tied to Strive's ASST common stock generated about $21.2 million in gross proceeds last week, while separate stock warrants valued at $700 million are due to expire on Oct. 13. TD Cowen raised its ASST price target from $32 to $44 and increased its 2026 bitcoin forecast to 32,105 BTC from 27,156, while raising projected BTC Yield from 54.1% to 70.1%.
