Bitcoin recovered above $80,000 and later rose above $85,000, reclaiming its 50-week and 365-day moving averages after recovering important cost-basis levels without significant leverage expansion. Glassnode reported that 24-hour spot trading volume across exchanges rose 121% from its August low, with Gate recording the largest market-share increase, while BTC moved above its realized market mean near $77,000 and the $84,000-$85,000 long-term-holder supply zone. Glassnode said Bitcoin could reach $95,000-$97,000 if it holds above $84,000, while CoinMarketCap research head AliceCrypto3 described positioning data as indicating a squeeze rather than a straightforward breakout. Analyst PlanB outlined a potential route to $100,000 this month or by October and a record above $126,000 before Christmas.
