Apple shares fell 1.08% to $336.09 as the company expanded its enterprise artificial-intelligence strategy with upgraded Mac mini and Mac Studio systems designed to run demanding workloads locally. Apple says Mac Studio clusters can handle trillion-parameter models from a single wall outlet, using unified memory and Apple Silicon to reduce reliance on cloud computing and separate graphics memory. The approach targets inference, coding, development and other corporate tasks rather than replacing large Nvidia-powered data centers. Apple’s enterprise challenge remains substantial: IDC data cited by Reuters puts its share near 4.6%, compared with about 91.3% for Windows-based devices. The new hardware builds on Apple’s broader on-device AI strategy, including Apple Intelligence and Siri AI through macOS 27. Earlier coverage cited Apple’s M6 and M5 Pro-powered Mac mini, M5 Max and M5 Ultra Mac Studio, Mac Studio support for up to 512GB of unified memory, and analysts’ views on iPhone demand, the Duo foldable and Apple’s valuation near 33 times fiscal 2027 earnings.
