Binance.US has opened its Binance.US Wallet to eligible iOS and Android users. The self-custody wallet (user-controlled crypto access) is built into the Binance.US App, allowing users to switch between the centralized exchange and wallet without leaving the app. It provides access to tens of thousands of tokens and hundreds of DApps (decentralized blockchain applications) across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Solana and Robinhood Chain. The wallet uses key sharding (splitting wallet access across multiple locations) instead of requiring a mnemonic by default. Key shares are stored on the user’s device, in personal cloud storage and with Binance.US; at least two shares are required to access the wallet, while Binance.US holds only one. Users can export their private keys at any time or import an existing wallet’s mnemonic. Binance.US plans to add cryptocurrency transfers between the exchange and wallet, buying and selling through convenient payment methods, and support for more tokens, networks and DApps.
