Hims & Hers Health, Inc. and certain company executives now face a securities class action following a July 29, 2026, federal complaint by the Federal Trade Commission, the State of Utah and Los Angeles County, representing California. The complaint alleges that Hims shared consumers’ sensitive health information with third-party advertising platforms, including Meta Platforms and Snap, through tracking pixels and customer-list matching. It also alleges that the company charged consumers for prescriptions soon after intake forms were submitted, before a medical consultation, and enrolled consumers in recurring subscriptions without informed consent while making cancellation difficult. Hagens Berman is examining whether Hims misled investors about its privacy safeguards, internal controls and potential regulatory and financial liabilities. Hims shares fell $4.32, or 14.7%, on July 29, wiping out more than $970 million in market capitalization. The class period runs from Aug. 4, 2025, through July 29, 2026, and the lead plaintiff deadline is Nov. 2, 2026. A separate Kehoe Law Firm inquiry is examining potential fiduciary-duty claims involving Hims officers and directors.
