Modal Labs is discussing a new financing round at a roughly $15 billion valuation, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter. The AI startup raised $355 million in May at a $4.65 billion valuation, Reuters previously reported. Modal helps AI companies access the chips needed to run AI tools and offers a sandbox product that lets developers test code, increasingly generated through AI, before integrating it into their products. Modal Labs did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
