Genius, an on-chain trading terminal backed by YZi Labs, has revised its Season 2 points campaign and delayed the planned unlocking of 70 million GENIUS tokens. The tokens were originally scheduled to unlock on October 25 as incentives for user trading and points accumulation. Earlier official documentation said Season 2 ran from April 10 to August 10 with 1.5 million points awarded daily, but the end date has since been removed and the daily allocation reduced to 50,000. CoinMarketCap data now places the 70 million-token unlock in February 2028. Some participants are asking for the original unlock schedule to be honored or for Season 2-related fees to be refunded.
