Tesla teased its upcoming Roadster on X with an apparent front LED light bar and the message "See you next week," while separately announcing high-volume Semi production. Elon Musk has previously said the Roadster could use SpaceX-developed cold-gas thrusters, but the latest teaser does not confirm SpaceX involvement. Tesla is targeting annual Semi production of 50,000 units at its 1.8 million-square-foot facility, and Swedish freight-technology company Einride AB has ordered 500 trucks, with 75 deliveries planned by the end of 2026. Tesla also highlighted a locally sourced nickel cathode produced at its Texas Gigafactory for Cybercab batteries; its Texas cathode facility completed the first Cybercab using internally produced material. Cathodes represent roughly 35% to 40% of battery production costs. Tesla shares rose 0.38% to $379.32 in Thursday overnight trading, while investors continue to focus on autonomous-driving deployment and the financial contribution of the Austin robo-taxi service.
