RTX's Pratt & Whitney delivered the first GTF Advantage-powered aircraft to United Airlines, marking the engine standard's commercial debut. United received an Airbus A321XLR equipped with engines that Pratt & Whitney says provide up to twice the time on wing and 4% to 8% more takeoff thrust than the current GTF. Pratt & Whitney plans to convert its PW1100G-JM production line to the Advantage specification by 2028. Separately, Pratt & Whitney Canada agreed to a four-year maintenance contract with AirBorneo Airways for PW127M engines on its ATR 72-500 fleet, while Collins Aerospace expanded agreements with ST Engineering. Bernstein kept a Market Perform rating on RTX but cut its price target to $223 from $232. RTX shares were little changed, trading at $191.90 in premarket activity, with technical indicators showing weaker near-term momentum.
