VIAVI Solutions LLC, the Aerospace and Defense division of VIAVI Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ: VIAV), said it completed Level 2 CMMC certification for its radio test, avionics, synthetic and modular, and Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) product lines. The assessment was conducted by A-LIGN, a C3PAO (CMMC third-party assessment organization) and federal compliance partner. CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) is a U.S. Department of Defense framework for protecting Controlled Unclassified Information on Defense Industrial Base systems and networks, and certification is mandatory for entities doing business with the DoD. VIAVI said it plans to extend the certification to Inertial Labs product lines acquired in 2025.
