EPAM builds cloud infrastructure for Europe’s first mandated consolidated tape

  • EPAM delivered cloud infrastructure for EuroCTP’s EU consolidated tape.
  • EuroCTP went live on Sept. 14, 2026, aggregating data from around 130 venues.
  • ESMA selected EuroCTP in December 2025 for a five-year operating term.

EPAM Systems (NYSE: EPAM) said it served as strategic engineering and delivery partner for EuroCTP, the European Union’s first mandated consolidated tape provider for shares and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). EuroCTP’s consolidated tape is a regulated, centralized stream combining pre-trade and post-trade market data. The platform went live on Sept. 14, 2026, after EPAM co-architected and delivered the cloud-native portion of EuroCTP’s hybrid infrastructure. The system is designed to address data fragmentation across around 130 trading and trade-reporting venues in dozens of European countries, where inconsistent and costly access has challenged investors. EPAM provided cloud architecture, low-latency data processing, customer portals, real-time data access through FIX standard in SBE and secure WebSocket connections, as well as integration governance and end-to-end testing. EuroCTP selected EPAM to design and build the infrastructure. EuroCTP B.V. is a Dutch joint venture owned by 16 European exchange groups, with shareholders based in all 27 EU member states. ESMA (EU securities regulator) selected the company in December 2025 to operate the EU share and ETF consolidated tape for a five-year term under MiFIR (EU markets legislation), under ESMA’s direct supervision. EPAM and EuroCTP executives said the engineering partnership, program management and infrastructure were important to bringing the service into operation. EPAM’s release also contained forward-looking statements subject to risks involving geopolitical developments, capital and foreign-exchange markets, global trade, the economy, artificial-intelligence adoption and other factors described in its securities filings.
