PancakeSwap has added Ondo Intelligent Portfolios, giving users access to three tokenized portfolio products based on nondiscretionary model strategies supplied by BlackRock: BLKHIon for high income, BLKDIGon for diversified growth and BLKGRWon for high growth. The integration extends distribution of Ondo's products through PancakeSwap, a decentralized exchange that facilitates automated cryptocurrency-token trading on BNB Chain. Eligible investors outside the U.S. in permitted jurisdictions can mint or redeem a single portfolio token rather than separately managing the weighted underlying basket. Ondo Global Markets issues the tokens and Ondo Finance tokenizes them, while holdings, weights and rebalances are visible onchain. BlackRock supplies the allocation models but does not manage or operate the tokenized portfolios. The effect of PancakeSwap availability on user engagement and trading volume remains to be seen.
