Nomadz has expanded from accommodation into flight bookings, giving travelers access to more than 300 airlines and over 1 million stays through a crypto-friendly platform. Users select conventional airline tickets and pay Nomadz with stablecoins (crypto tokens designed to maintain stable value), while the underlying reservation remains an ordinary airline booking. The Solana-native aggregator primarily uses USDC for settlement and Solana Pay (Solana-based payment infrastructure), and also maintains an on-chain travel identity system. The launch includes zero flight fees for the first 30 days and other perks. The move follows Cryptorefills' launch nine days earlier in the Solana dApp Store for Solana Mobile's Seeker and Saga devices, offering SOL or USDC payments for flights across 300 airlines and more than 1 million hotels and short-term stays. Emirates has taken a more direct approach by adding Crypto.com Pay to its flight-booking checkout in July.
