Blue Origin has raised $10 billion in its first outside financing round, valuing Jeff Bezos’s space company at about $140 billion as it expands launch, satellite and government programs. Bezos is contributing another $2 billion, bringing his cumulative investment since founding the company in 2000 to roughly $30 billion. Revenue reached about $800 million in 2025 and is projected at $1.4 billion for the current year, with internal forecasts exceeding $30 billion by 2030. Satellite communications and future artificial intelligence-focused satellite networks are expected to contribute to growth, although the satellite division has not yet deployed hardware into orbit. Blue Origin employs about 15,000 people and is rebuilding launch infrastructure after a New Glenn rocket exploded at a Florida facility in May. The company has completed three New Glenn orbital missions and is relying on the reusable rocket to narrow the gap with SpaceX. The financing could ultimately exceed its initial $10 billion target.
