Quant's QNT token rose about 36% in 24 hours to $97.95 as of 7:25 p.m. UTC on Sept. 25 after The Clearing House selected its technology for the On-Chain Money Initiative, a planned network for clearing and settling tokenized deposits. QNT briefly reached $103.71 and recorded roughly $90 million in 24-hour trading volume, though it remained about 77% below its September 2021 all-time high of $428.38. Quant will provide the interoperability, orchestration and transaction-management layer, linking the network to TCH's RTP and CHIPS payment systems. TCH, which is owned by 25 of the largest US financial institutions and clears and settles more than $2 trillion daily, first unveiled the initiative in June with 17 banks including J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, Citi, Wells Fargo and HSBC. Participating institutions are targeted to gain access in the first half of 2027. Neither TCH nor Quant has said whether QNT will have a role in the network.
