Lighter (LIT) fell 11.2% in 24 hours to about $4.87 after sellers rejected a rally toward $5.50 following Bitwise’s listing of the first exchange-traded product linked to LIT on Deutsche Börse’s Xetra. The Bitwise Lighter Staking ETP, or BLIT, carries a 0.85% annual expense ratio and is fully backed by LIT held in cold storage. Profit-taking after a gain of more than 60% over the past month, along with four consecutive days of positive Exchange Netflow, contributed to the decline, although Exchange Netflow alone does not prove selling. Bitwise said BLIT’s staking program would start once it reached sufficient assets under management. If selling persists, LIT could test its 21-day Moving Average near $4.60 and potentially $4, while easing profit-taking could help it reclaim $5 and challenge $5.40.
