Bitcoin gained roughly 45% from its July levels and traded around $84,300 on Sept. 25 after recently approaching $87,000. Binance recorded more than 13,800 BTC in daily outflows, its largest since 2023, while its reserves fell from roughly 705,000 BTC to 685,000 BTC over four days and its seven-day average netflow declined to about negative 2,000 BTC. CryptoQuant analyst Darkfrost linked the withdrawals to possible fear of missing out among investors who had expected a further decline. Wallets holding 100 to 1,000 BTC added 113,950 BTC between July 15 and Sept. 24, lifting their combined balances to about 5.24 million BTC. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $190.7 million in net inflows on Sept. 24, their sixth consecutive positive session, following $346.9 million on Sept. 23. Exchange outflows reduce Bitcoin immediately available for trading on Binance, but the data cannot establish whether transfers reflect self-custody, institutional custody, transfers to other platforms or other activity.
