Binance launched spot trading for Hyperliquid’s native HYPE token at 11:00 UTC on September 24 across HYPE/USDT, HYPE/USDC and HYPE/TRY. Binance TR users have exclusive access to the Turkish-lira pair, while users in the United States, Canada, Iran, the Netherlands and several other jurisdictions are restricted. HYPE carries Binance’s Seed designation, which signals higher volatility and requires eligible traders to complete risk assessments every 90 days on Spot and Margin before trading. Deposits opened one hour before launch, withdrawals were scheduled for September 25 at 11:00 UTC subject to change, and Binance waived listing fees. Wallet 0x6436 bought 373,730 HYPE worth about $36 million during September, following earlier purchases, and staked the holdings after each transaction. The address has been linked to PURR, which has filed regulatory documents describing HYPE as a core treasury reserve. Technical analysts identified support around $72 to $82, resistance at $89.59, $110, $130, $160 and $180, and an extended target of $210. Hyperliquid’s Assistance Fund converts trading fees into HYPE and burns the tokens; September SEC (U.S. securities regulator) documentation said about $1.2 billion, or roughly 46.4 million HYPE, had been repurchased and destroyed since launch. HYPE traded near $95 after Binance announced the listing.
