Bitcoin traded sideways near $84,000 after a volatile week in which it fell to $80,300, rallied to $87,000 and was rejected again near $87,300. The cryptocurrency's market capitalization settled at $1.680 trillion, while its market dominance slipped to 58.6%. Earlier weekly data had shown broad altcoin participation, with 93 of the top 100 assets rising and ENA, SUI and NEAR among the strongest performers.
