The Clearing House selected Quant to provide the interoperability and transaction-management layer for its On-Chain Money Initiative, a planned network that will let financial institutions clear and settle tokenized bank deposits while connecting them to existing RTP and CHIPS payment rails. The project, first announced in June, remains under development, with participating institutions expected to gain access in the first half of 2027 rather than through a live consumer payment network. The Clearing House says its networks clear and settle more than $2 trillion daily across wire transfers, ACH, checks and real-time payments. The announcement coincided with a roughly 38% rally in Quant’s QNT token: spot volume rose 228.9% to nearly $38.2 million, derivatives volume climbed 637.49% to $214.37 million and open interest increased 78.87% to $29.54 million. QNT broke above a prolonged descending channel, reclaimed $80.53 and reached $98.65, with resistance near $102.91 and a potential next level at $131.77.
