Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP is investigating potential securities claims against Pentair plc on behalf of investors who purchased or acquired the company’s securities from March 11, 2025, through July 14, 2026. The firm said a federal securities class action has been filed and reminded eligible investors that October 2, 2026, is the deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff. The complaint alleges that Pentair and its executives failed to disclose significant inventory destocking in the Pool channel and the resulting harm to sales, operating income and business prospects. Pentair said after the market closed on July 14, 2026, that the destocking reduced preliminary second-quarter 2026 Pool segment sales by approximately $170 million and segment income by approximately $105 million. The company expected second-quarter sales to decline 17% against an earlier forecast of approximately 1% growth, while full-year sales were expected to fall approximately 4% to 7% against a previous forecast of 2% to 4% growth. Pentair also announced the immediate departure of its Chief Financial Officer. Its shares fell $11.35, or 15%, to close at $64.33 on July 15, 2026, amid unusually heavy trading volume.
