Aave V4 on Base has deployed an Equities Hub that enables qualified users outside the U.S. to use seven Coinbase tokenized stocks as collateral for USDC loans. The market supports tokenized Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla shares, with USDC as its only borrowable asset. The isolated market has a $29 million combined collateral ceiling, a $32 million USDC supply cap and a $21 million borrowing limit. Microsoft has a 79% loan-to-value threshold, while Meta and Tesla are set at 65%; Apple, Alphabet, Amazon and Nvidia fall between those levels. Aave said final activation remains subject to its governance process, including an offchain Snapshot poll and binding onchain vote. AAVE traded around $146 to $147 after the development, having risen about 13% over seven days and 25% over 30 days. It reached an intraday high of $150.14 before consolidating near $147.41, with resistance cited near $155.43 and support at $134.56. Coinbase Onchain SPV Ltd. issues the tokens, with underlying shares held in segregated custody by Alpaca Securities. Chainlink provides 24/5 equity pricing, while the Aave market remains operational continuously even when valuations do not refresh during weekends and holidays.
