Stablecoin supply on Solana reached a record on September 25, 2026, with the official Solana account reporting $17.3 billion at 14:00 UTC and SolanaFloor measuring $17.39 billion 40 minutes later. SolanaFloor attributed a $1.26 billion 24-hour increase to Circle minting $751 million of USDC and Tether minting $530 million of USDT, although those issuer-level figures were not cited by the Solana account. DefiLlama recorded $16.57 billion in dollar-pegged supply, or about $16.63 billion including euro-pegged and other stablecoins, reflecting differences in token coverage and update schedules. Its data ranked Solana third among stablecoin networks behind Ethereum at $145.9 billion and Tron at $94.1 billion, and ahead of BNB Chain at $13.3 billion and Base at $5.1 billion. USDC accounted for roughly $8.4 billion on Solana, while wallets holding USDC grew from about 8.1 million on August 10 to more than 9.3 million on September 25. The record follows heavy issuance, new payment infrastructure and the Solana Foundation's appointment of Jamal Raees as general manager of payments.
