Uniswap completed about 140 million transactions in August, exceeding the combined total of Cboe BZX and NYSE American, according to ARK analyst Lorenzo Valente. NYSE American has operated since 1908, while Uniswap launched in 2018. Uniswap handled only about 2 million transactions per month five years ago. By transaction count, Valente said the next platform it needs to catch is NYSE Arca, which completed about 232 million transactions in August.
