Sequans Communications sold its final 34 Bitcoin and completed its exit from a corporate Bitcoin treasury strategy, leaving the NYSE-listed semiconductor company with no cryptocurrency holdings. Bitcoin traded near $84,165, down 33.2% from its October 2025 peak but higher over the preceding two weeks. The disposal closes a balance-sheet restructuring that began in May, when Sequans used part of its Bitcoin position to redeem its remaining convertible debt issued in July 2025. The company held roughly 658 Bitcoin at that point and 314 Bitcoin as of June 30 before monetizing the balance over subsequent months. Sequans said it has no outstanding debt other than obligations associated with government-funded research and development programs. CEO Georges Karam said the company sold its remaining Bitcoin in a measured and opportunistic manner and will concentrate on its semiconductor growth strategy. Product revenue rose more than 80% year over year in the second quarter, while its six-month product backlog more than tripled.
