Aero, a unified DeFi liquidity layer developed by Dromos Labs, is scheduled to launch at 8 p.m. EDT on Oct. 21, or midnight UTC on Oct. 22, across Base, Ethereum Mainnet, Arc, OP Mainnet, Ink, Robinhood Chain and Arbitrum. The platform will consolidate Aerodrome Finance and Velodrome Finance and support onchain and cross-chain swaps, governance-directed liquidity incentives, permissionless market creation, token-market bootstrapping, and liquidity for stablecoins, tokenized assets and foreign exchange. Aero will use a ve(3,3)-style governance and rewards model, with MetaRouter, MetaSwaps and an SDK supporting cross-chain routing and developer integration. Aero Lite is already live on Circle's Arc blockchain. The project said sAERO holders will use Predictive Allocation to direct AERO Rewards across networks and receive a share of exchange revenue. The rollout follows a planned merger and 10 months of development; a public audit contest has concluded, with final fixes being merged before final quality assurance. Aero expects the seven-network deployment to roughly triple the market covered by existing Aerodrome and Velodrome deployments. AERO rose about 23% to $0.86 over 24 hours, while VELODROME gained more than 20% to $0.035.
