Circle Internet Group said Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox-Geen will step down by December 31, 2026, or when a successor is appointed, as the USDC stablecoin issuer begins an executive search. Fox-Geen, who joined Circle in May 2021, will retain his $500,000 annualized salary, benefits, equity vesting and eligibility for a 2026 incentive award targeted at 110% of salary during the transition. His separation agreement provides $1.05 million over 12 months, additional restricted stock unit vesting and an extended option-exercise period in exchange for restrictive covenants and a release. Co-founder P. Sean Neville also resigned from Circle's board effective September 25 for personal reasons, reducing the board to seven directors. Circle said neither departure stemmed from disagreement over its operations, policies or practices.
